The Project

Katalis eLearning

Concinnity, in partnership with College Australia, proudly collaborated on the Katalis project. Funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), this initiative focused on designing and delivering specialised eLearning to strengthen business capabilities across Australia and Indonesia.

Our Process & Solutions

The core of the Katalis project involved developing two key eLearning modules: "Introduction to HR Support Role" and "Introduction to Financial Support Role." This wasn't a straightforward development task; it required a nuanced approach to ensure true impact across cultures.

Our process meticulously addressed several complexities:

  • Cultural Relevance: We navigated significant cultural differences to ensure content resonated authentically with Indonesian learners.

  • Language & Technical Adaptation: Modules were translated into Bahasa Indonesia and meticulously formatted to be SCORM-compliant for hosting on an Indonesian Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Inclusive Design: The project firmly adhered to Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) principles, ensuring equitable and accessible learning experiences.

  • Multi-Partner Collaboration: Success hinged on seamless collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, private businesses, and international partners.

Key Outcomes

This strategic collaboration yielded valuable outcomes, poised to make a real difference in the Indonesian market:

  • Tailored eLearning Modules: Two high-quality eLearning modules, directly addressing critical business support roles, were successfully developed and prepared for release to the Indonesian market.

  • Enhanced Cross-Cultural Expertise: The project significantly deepened Concinnity's understanding of international learning and development challenges, enhancing our practices for future cross-cultural initiatives.

  • Contribution to Bilateral Skills Exchange: Through these modules, we contributed directly to the Indonesia-Australia Skills Exchange, fostering stronger business ties and capabilities between the two nations.

  • Anticipated Market Impact: We look forward to seeing the positive reception and impact of these learning solutions in a vital new market.
